MET Technician

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified experienced MET Technicians, preferably with Senior ATA accreditation, to join our busy team. 

Based in a bodyshop environment the M.E.T technician role requires you to strip and fit damaged panels, interior trim and minor mechanical / electrical parts from vehicles involved in road accidents. You will be repairing a wide range of vehicles, we are Audi, Citroen, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Seat, Skoda, Vauxhall & VW approved, and you must be productive and work to a high standard.

You must hold a City Guilds / NVQ qualification or time served equivalent and be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

The bodyshop can be a fast paced environment and therefore requires a team player who can use their own initiative to meet deadlines. We have a productivity bonus and would expect you to earn from £32,500 - £35,000 OTE depending upon your ability.

The position is available immediately and permanent, full time and based at our Fix Auto Rochester site.
